iPhone Craze

I went by the Apple Store around 1 PM yesterday to see how many crazy people are waiting to get an iPhone. To my surprise, there was no one waiting at the door. How can this be? I was shocked.

Later, my coworker told me that all the crazies are waiting in an empty room a few doors down. I had to see it myself. They were keeping a list. I signed up just to see how many already did. I was number 214. I guess the folks here near Beverly Hills get to wait for their iPhones in comfort unlike the true hardcore folks in NYC or elsewhere.

There you have it. Crazy people waiting to give their money away for a cell phone. Hey people, smartphones have been around for a while. You can get one without over paying or waiting. And this new iPhone is not even smart enough to do voice dialing or add new ringtones. So if everyone has an iPhone, you won't be able to tell whose phone is ringing! Smart...very smart. But hey, it is a status symbol; it's magical like Paris Hilton.
