The third and final (in terms or production) episode of Star Wars' DVD releases today. This completes the whole Star Wars' series, a total of 6 episodes. Fans can now watch the epic series from beginning to end in one sitting. Although the original Star Wars (episodes 4 - 6) received better reviews than the prequels, I still enjoyed episodes 1 - 3 very much. And this last release, Revenge of the Sith, is by far the best of the three prequels. The opening sequence and the saber duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan Kenobi in the end were some of the most intense actions I have seen on screen.
Forbes reports, "As if the entire Star Wars saga were not enough, the Sith DVD's extras include a documentary recounting the 70,441 hours it took to construct a 60-second light saber duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan Kenobi."
Revenge of the Sith is the episode that links the prequels to the originals. The story is superb and well told by Lucas. This movie is a must-have for home theaters. It is also a great demo disc with all the visual and sound effects.
