Return of the Two DVDs

Lord of the Rings: Return of the King's DVD will be releasing in two days on May 25th. Of course, like before, this is the theatrical version without the extended scenes. And, like before, the extended version will release sometime in the fall this year. Previously, I bought both the theatrical and the extended versions. The more I think about it, the more ripped off I feel. There's really no point buying the theatrical version in my opinion. Both of my theatrical versions are collecting dust since I only watch the extended releases which are more detailed and better transferred onto the DVD format. Anyway, I think this time I am going to hold off and wait for the extended version to complete my collection. You would think I have learned my lesson from the very first time and not buy Two Towers' theatrical version. Yeah, I do not know what I was thinking either...then again, why not keep up the tradition and just suck it up for this one last time...hmm...
