NBA Bans iPod

Vince Carter of NBA's Toronto Raptors cannot listen to his iPod during the 20 minute warm-up before each game. What? Many atheletes use music as a way to gain focus and concentration before an event. As seen in this past summer Olympics, many divers put on their headphones in between dives to remain in the zone. NBA says that it violates the rules of attire to carry around an iPod and probably any other MP3 player or walkman during warm-up. This is just ridiculous. If an athelete wants to get psyched up by listening to music so he can improve his concentration, let him or her do it! It is more exciting to watch a player get in the zone in any sport than watching him or her looking pretty and suck.

I am not a fan of the NBA. This stupid attire rule set by the NBA gives me that one more reason to not watch the sport. Baseketball is a sport. It is not a show.
