GoDaddy.com Rules

Register.com is such a rip off. I just initiated my domain name transfer from Register.com to GoDaddy.com. Register.com sent me an e-mail to confirm the transfer process which is normal. However, Register.com reminds me, "When you renew 5 or more Web addresses with Register.com you can save substantially off our regular yearly price of $35.00 - only $12.95 a year for each.* And, you have the ease of managing all of your Web addresses from one place. Renew your Web addresses now! All addresses will be extended from their current expiration date for the low yearly rates noted above. Don't lose another moment. Call today!" And then at the very bottom of the e-mail, it says, "Offer valid for 5 or more simultaneous Web address renewals. Offer good for .com, .net and .org names only."
Now, why would I stay with Register.com when GoDaddy.com charges less than $10 a year? Not only does GoDaddy.com offer a very reasonable price for registration, it has a ton more features that are included. And you do not even have to do a 5 year plan nor a 5 domain renewal! Who can afford to renew after paying $35 for 5 domains to get the discounted price of $12.95 each. Do the math and you will see how much you will significantly save by using other reputable registrars than Register.com.

My dtwang.net domain is the last domain I needed to transfer out of Register.com. I did not transfer it sooner because I wanted to milk every single penny out of Register.com before I leave them. Never again will I go back to it. I have been recommending GoDaddy.com to my friends and clients for over a year now. It is plain and simple. $25 less a year for better service and company. When will Register.com learn its lessons? The only other worse domain registrar is NetWorkSolutions.com. I won't even bother wasting my time talking about them.
