Crutchfield Car Show

I went to check out Crutchfield's car show yesterday. It is a mini-show in comparison to car shows of major cities. Charlottesville is indeed a small town. Be that as it may, the show was still at least interesting.
The first car that caught my eye was the Lexus by Sony. Guess what? It was the same model type as mine! Lexus does not sell too many of my car model and the chance of someone spotting one on the road is rare. So far, this is the second Lexus SportCross I have seen in Charlottesville including mine. I was very curious to see what Sony has done to it.
Sony's SportCross show car was customized to the max. I especially liked the rearview camera mount and the playstation glove box install. Sony also moved the power window and side mirror controls from the door to the center console (copying BMW's interior in a way) to make way for the tweeters on the door. That was cool. The backseat was completely taken out to make way for the speakers and amps. The custom built box was wild.
As much as I love Sony electronics, I am not a big fan of Sony's Car audio products. They just do not sound that great. I prefer JL Audio and MB Quart equipment myself. Both JL and MB simply sound better and cleaner than any other companies out there right now.
Overall, the car show was okay, not spectacular or anything. It is a shame that Crutchfield does not carry JL Audio or any other high end car audio products or else there would be much better sounding cars on the lot. Oh yeah, there was one wild looking tri-bike there which reminded me of something that Batman would use.
