Yahoo!'s Boo Boo

Get this. Yahoo!'s new anti-spyware and anti-adware toolbar it released recently does not block the infamous Claria-wares formerly known as Gator. Claria-wares are not only the most annoying but they are also the toughest to remove. Once you are infected by Gator, you will be spending rest of your time on the compter clicking off pop-up ads or trying to remove the infection. And while you are clicking away, Claria can also track your web surfing habits. Yes, Claria-wares are evil and annoying. Why does Yahoo! favor Claria? Yahoo! is a business partner of Claria. Either release something useful or don't bother releasing anything at all! What good is an anti-spyware if it does not block one of the most hated spyware companies of them all? This is just disappointing.
