Truveo

Wow, just weeks after Google bought a percentage of AOL and a week after Google Video launched, AOL announced its acquisition of another video search engine company. Truveo.com is a video search engine that returns more relevant and better results than Google Video. But I guess it really does not matter now. My best guess is that Truveo.com will disappear in a few months with its technology integrated into Google Video. Or maybe Google just got screwed with its $1 Billion investment in AOL. Who knows what AOL's intention may be with its acquisition of Truveo.com? Perhaps AOL is still seeking world media domination after failing to do so by gobbling up Time Warner. However, I can assure you that the founders of Truveo.com just got rich. For now, check out Truveo.com, it still works.
