Did you know that the chip developers have been etching hidden images and messages on computer chips for years? I think microscopic art is far more interesting than Grand Theft Auto's sexy easter egg which did not surprise nor amuse me.

CNET reports, "More than 10 years ago, Michael Davidson went looking to capture the beauty of microchip circuitry in photographs. In among the transistors and wire traces, he found something unexpected: Waldo."

One of my favorites is Thor: God of Thunder that was found on a Hewlett-Packard graphics support chip. It is 1.1 square millimeters in size with great detail. Check out other microscopic images here.
