IDF 2006

They are showing some really cool concepts at the 2006 Intel Developer Forum like this Montevallo 1 below.

This concept is definitely not original since it is very much like the Panasonic LS50 Portable DVD Player (see picture below). But I think this form factor definitely works well for laptops. I am not sure why it has taken the developers this long to adapt the Panasonic concept for laptops. Well, better later than never right?
