Car Hacking

Almost every new lexus model uses keyless entry and keyless engine start. Yep, this is very cool especially for high-tech thieves. Leftlane reports, "High-tech thieves are becoming increasingly savvy when it comes to stealing automobiles equipped with keyless entry and ignition systems." Armed with a laptop, a car hacker can steal one of the new keyless cars in about 20 minutes without even putting a scratch it. Sure, new technology creates convenience but for whom? Consumers or criminals? Even if I had the money to pimp around in one of the new GS, I don't think I trust the new keyless security system just yet. What is wrong with using a key anyway?
