Wild Peacock

We went to a party at Rolling Hills and saw a peacock roaming the streets. I thought it was someone's pet. The host later told us that there are about 200 peacocks running wild in the area, and they are in the streets, yards, and trees. During mating season, the peacocks are especially vocal. Their cries for love sound like babies crying. I tried chasing after one to get a better photo of it. It was surprisingly fast and camera shy.
