The Machinist

The Machinist is an intense movie that concentrates in character study. Christian Bale's performance as the main character was so good that it was literally sickening. Watching this movie, you will immediately think of Alfred Hitchcock. That's all I will say about the movie. You will need to find out the rest yourself. I strongly recommend The Machinist to those who love movies with deep character development, great cinematography, and an intense story line presented in a twisted kind of way. Yes, it is Christian Bale in the picture below after he shot American Psycho and before he became Batman. No, it is not a special effect. He really did lose all that weight for this movie!
