Movie: Paycheck (DVD)

I rented the movie Paycheck directed by John Woo and starring Ben Affleck, Uma Thurman, and Aaron Eckhart. This movie's story is forgettable and lacking original cool action sequences especially for a John Woo film. The best way to describe this movie is a bad b-rated cheap imitation of Minority Report .
It appears that John Woo attempts to direct an intelligent and suspenseful movie. He does this from time to time. Well, he should stop trying to make worthy films and stick to action packed movies only. His action packed films such as Face/off and Broken Arrow are at least entertaining.
Don't get me wrong, Paycheck's storyline does have potential. The movie was just very poorly executed. I was expecting a ton more of entertaining action sequences. It is supposedly a John Woo film right?
Some people argue that the cast could be better such as having someone better for the lead role other than Ben Affleck. I don't think so. The faults of this movie can only be blamed on the director, John Woo.
This movie is not worth the rental. If you are bored, catch it on HBO.
