Maru Restaurant

Maru is a Japanese restaurant that specializes in sushi and yakitori. Yakitori is marinated chicken in bite-sized pieces grilled on skewers. Maru offers many different types of yakitori, ranging from teriyaki chicken to chicken hearts. The restaurant also serves some of the best tasting grilled fish in the area. We had a yellowtail that was tender, fresh, and juicy. Maru's agedashi (deep-fried tofu served with dried bonito tuna flakes, ginder and mild soy sauce) is also unique and excellent with eggplant as topping as you see below in the big brown bowl.
