Boiling Crab is a vietnamese-owned cajun seafood restaurant located on 14241 Euclid Street in Garden Grove, in Garden Grove's Little Saigon. This place is not just a place to fill an empty stomach; it is an experience. The food is ordered by weight such as a pound of crawfish, shrimp, and/or crabs. In our case, we also ordered a dozen of raw oysters. We loved the oysters so much that we ended up ordering another dozen to share among the four of us. The boiled seafood is served in a plastic bag without utensils. Utensils serve zero purpose in a place like this. You must use your fingers and hands, get down and dirty, to pry open the crawfish to get a bite of the cajun goodness. If you are visiting the L.A. area, this is one place you must visit. I recommend going to the restaurant a little early in the evening. Boiling Crab takes no reservations. The waiting list can be up to 2 hours long if you arrive during dinner time on a weekend.
