Barney's Beanery

Barney's Beanery on 3rd street in Santa Monica offers a ton of items on its menu. One of the articles about the restaurant writes, "But the primary reason it all works is because of the food, which is pure American comfort. Waffles, pancakes, burgers, pizza, burritos and of course, chili. There are now (at least) 85 different beers to choose from, and 45 different kinds of chili. " We had a breafast burrito and french toast, and I can't wait to try its giant chili dogs in my future visits. The original restaurant in Hollywood was established in 1920 with lots of history and celebrity visits throughout the years. The menu comes in the style of a newspaper with interesting tidbits about the restaurant itself. The food is pretty good with decent prices (especially for the area).
