Resources
Rainlendar is a small application that displays current month's calendar on your desktop, and Rainmeter is a performance meter that monitors your computer's resources such as CPU load, memory utilization, network traffic, and others. I strongly recommend both of these apps to all windows 2000 or XP users. Not only do these apps look great on your desktop, they are useful and customizable. Best of all, they do not require much resources to be running full time. The two programs are very stable. You may also find a ton of different skins on customize.org for both of them. Rainlendar and Rainmeter are must-have utilities for anyone. Give them a test drive and see for yourself.
By the way, I am using the Contrast Display skin for both applications. Here is a screen shot of my desktop.
