Google Earth

Google introduces a powerful 3D mapping software. According to Earth Times, the application allows the user to "swoop down from outer space into a continent on planet Earth and then dive right down to a street somewhere in NY". I downloaded Google Earth and tried the software myself. It is one amazing tool. You can see 3D buildings in major cities and 3D images of terrain such as mountains, valleys, and canyons.
Google Earth lets you zoom, tilt, and rotate. The best feature of this software is the ability to maneuver and navigate within the 3D environment for a different perspective of a particular location.
