Truing Stand

When I was adjusting my brakes on the bike, I noticed my rear wheel was wobbling slightly. It was impossible to tighten the brakes without the pads rubbing against the wheel at certain points during a free spin. I knew I had to fix my wheel by truing it. Originally, I was going to take my bike to the shop. The average cost for truing and brake adjustment is $40. I searched for "truing wheel" and found a bunch of guides on wheel truing. It did not seem too hard. I decided to spend $50 on a truing stand and a few bucks on a spokes wrench. After reading more guides and watching a few more videos, I put my new found skills to action. It was actually much easier than I thought. I trued the wheel in a few minutes and was able to tighten my brake without the pads rubbing against the wheel.
