Pocket Tunes

After taking a test drive of Pocket Tunes on my Palm for a couple of weeks, I was hooked. I took the plunge and purchased the application for $38 for one of its major features: Pocket Tunes can access hundreds of Internet radio stations without any subscription fees. I can access these Internet radio stations, as expected, via the Wi-Fi connection on my Palm. But the really amazing thing is I can also access the same Internet radio stations via my mobile phone's GPRS connection lag free. I have Internet radio as long as I have a cell phone reception. Not only did Pocket Tunes transform my Palm into a great MP3 player, it also turned my PDA into an Internet radio music player. Mobile Internet radio access is definitely the way of the future, and I hope both Apple and Microsoft will roll out Internet radio features in their next mobile music players.
