I decided to replace our two Gameboy Advance SPs for a black and a pink Nintendo DS Lites. The DS is an intense upgrade from the Gameboy. The two screens are super bright and vibrant. The bottom screen is a touch screen which expands the capabilities and possibilities of handheld gaming. The Nintendo DS Lite can also play the old Gameboy Advance games. GBA games look so much better on the DS. The system lets you choose which screen to display the GBA games.
The unit also has a microphone which can be used for games that require voice such as Brain Age. The DS can also connect to other units and the Internet wirelessly for multiplayer games.
The combination of the touch screen, microphone, wireless connectivity, and traditional gaming controls makes the Nintendo DS Lite a very powerful and versatile handheld. We are pleased and impressed.
