After years of using Wi-Fi B, I finally had to upgrade to Wi-Fi G to stream photos from my computer to my Xbox 360. The speed of Wi-Fi B was not fast enough for tranferring large files over LAN. I found a great deal for a DI-624 router for $35 after rebate. I also had to purchase a new wireless bridge, DWL-G820, to hook up my XBox 360 to my network wirelessly using Wi-Fi G. The D-Link wireless bridge costs under $60. It will transform any device with an ethernet port into a wireless machine. I really don't know why anyone would buy the over priced XBox USB wireless adapter for $100 when you can do the same thing for under $60. Hooking up the D-Link was quick and easy. It did take me a while to reconfigure the new router with all the security settings and port forwarding I wanted. Once I was finished, the router and bridge work like champs. I can view my photos on my computer via my living room TV using XBox 360. It is awesome.
