My Mac Pro came stocked with 2 gigabytes of RAM which is hardly sufficient to match its two Quad-Core processors. I decided to add 4 more gigs of RAM for a total of 6 gigs. I purchased two 2 gigs of iRAM 800mhz DDR2 for much cheaper than Apple's OEM RAM. The installation was a snap or more like a few snaps, literally.
