Sudoku

Sudoku, a logic-based placement puzzle, was first published in a magazine in 1979. The game caught on in Japan in 1986. It was not until last year that Sudoku became internationally popular. Read the Sudoku Wiki here. I remember hearing about this game late last year. I finally decided to give Sudoku a try and downloaded a freeware version for my Palm handheld.

The simple rules of Sudoku make the game very easy to learn and pick up; however, the puzzles can be very challenging and complex. Sudoku is a great puzzle game that can be played anywhere with a piece of paper and pencil. Many newspapers and magazines offer Sudoku puzzles to pick your brain. You can also check out Web Sudoku, a site that provides a ton of puzzles for you to solve.
