SSX on Tour

I found a used copy of SSX on Tour for $24.99. Using my 10% EB card discount, I paid a total of $24.23 including tax. Well, I would say that SSX on Tour is worth about $25. I am glad that I did not pay over $30 for this game. It is still a fun game but not as good as its predecessors. The developers decided to use a weird rock theme for the fourth installment of SSX. The weird graphics and music can get quite annoying. However, it is original and unique.

SSX on Tour uses right stick instead of a combination of buttons to pull off Monster Tricks. You can also play as a skier for the first time. But it is disappointing that SSX on Tour does NOT have online game play. Man, SSX is perfect for multiplayer especially on XBox Live. Oh well...

If you can find a used copy for under $30, SSX on Tour is worth the try. I still think Tricky (SSX 2) is the best of the four.
