The first game that caused me to feel motion sickness was Alien vs. Predators on the PC. Now days, many first person shooters can cause me to feel dizzy and nauseous. However, I have never puked from playing a first person shooter game. I usually stop and lie down before I really have to vomit all over the place. It is not a good feeling. There are certain FPS games I can play such as Halo's multiplayer, but I can't last a full level of single player Halo without feeling dizzy.
At first I thought I was the only one with this condition. I was wrong. Many, like me, feel motion sickness from playing FPS games. And these people are super hardcore. They will play, get sick, puke, and play some more. The Toque writes, "To combat the nausea, Jenny purchased a plastic cover for her keyboard, she laid down a canvas tarpaulin on the floor, and she keeps a bucket beside her computer--just in case she feels she's going to lose her lunch battling head crabs."
Well, I wish I have the courage to play till I puke. I really like to play or try many FPS games out there. Is puking worth the gaming experience?
