The top 10 facts by ESA (Entertainment Software Association) are very interesting. If you don't play games and think that kids are the only ones playing video games, you probably think it is still the late 80s when Nintendo first hit the scene. As Mr. T would say, "I pity the fool!"
In 2005, U.S. computer and video game software sales hit $7 billion which does not include hardware sales. Sixty nine percent of American heads of households play computer and video games. An average gamer is 33 years old and the average age of the most active game buyer is 40 years old. Who else can afford $50+ per game and $400+ gaming consoles besides those who actually have the capability to make lots of money?
