Dungeon Siege II Deluxe

I recently purchased Dungeon Siege II Deluxe which includes the original Dungeon Siege II and the Broken World expansion pack for $30. Dungeon Siege II is your typical action RPG game with a simplified character customization system. The game reminds me of Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance which was also another action RPG without all the complexities of robust role playing games such as Neverwinter Nights.

If you take Dungeon Siege II for what it is, a button mashing / mouse clicking game, it is actually quite good. The story line for the main quest is decent, and there are plenty of side quests to keep things interesting. The graphics look nice for this older game. One of the best features about this game is that it does not have to load in between areas. This gives your the illusion that you are playing on one giant map which is a nice change for games in this genre. Some games these days can take too long to load in between areas which do get quite annoying after a while. If you enjoy button mashing and kicking it old school RPG style, check out Dungeon Siege II.
