DOFUS is a nice looking MMORPG game using flash based engine which can be played using a web browser on various platforms (Mac, PC, and Linux). The game's action is turn-based which is familiar to fans of the Final Fantasy series or others alike. DOFUS features 22 characters, 17 areas, 360+ spells, 30 professions, and much more. The official lanuch date for DOFUS is September 1st. There are already 80,000 beta testers on DOFUS. It is amazing to see a good looking MMORPG using the flash based engine. Unlike other top MMORPGs, DOFUS does not require you to sell an arm and a leg to upgrade your computer with the latest hardware to play the game. Will this game make a big dent in the MMORPG market share that is currently dominated by Blizzard's World of Warcraft? World of Warcraft currently has 3.5 million subscribers after its launch in China. DOFUS has long ways to go before it attracts that many gamers to its world. But with only bare minimum hardware requriements and accessibility from any platform, DOFUS certainly has the potential to spread very quickly.
